Refund & Cancellation Policy

StudySmiths (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides tutoring services on a weekly subscription basis, operated by Oliver Smith as a UK sole trader.

1. Subscription Charges

• Customers are charged £30 or £35 per week, depending on the plan chosen.

• Payments are taken automatically each week until the subscription is cancelled.

2. Session Redemption

• Each weekly payment entitles the student to one 1-hour tutoring session.

• Sessions may be redeemed by the customer or by us on their behalf.

• Unused sessions do not roll over unless explicitly agreed in writing.

3. Cancelling the Subscription

• Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time.

• To avoid being charged for the upcoming week, cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the renewal time.

• Payments already processed are non-refundable unless legally required.

4. Rescheduling & Lesson Cancellations

• Lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

• Cancellations within 24 hours or failure to attend (no-shows) result in the weekly session being marked as used.

5. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only issued if:

• A duplicate payment was taken

• A payment was taken after a correctly processed cancellation

• A tutor cancels and cannot reschedule

Completed weeks or completed tutoring sessions are non-refundable.
